Twice per year RISE hosts Intersession periods to provide students with targeted time to focus on a specific course and expedite progress in content mastery and credit attainment.
Our Fall Intersession is taking place next week: October 14 – 18.
This means that students will not attend regularly scheduled classes, but instead have the option of either signing up for a specific course that will take place 9:00 am – 12:00pm each day, or using the week as their fall break.

Intersession Guidelines & Expectations
- If a senior has more than 20 credits left to complete before graduation, s/he will be required to attend the Senior Intensive course to ensure adequate progress towards course completion.
- If a student signs up for a workshop, attendance to those workshop times is mandatory.
- Students may sign up for as many workshops as they would like.
- Students are only allowed to be at school during the scheduled times for their workshop(s).
