Next week students will be participating in their quarterly MAP Test assessments in order to measure their literacy and math growth. Based on feedback received from students and our Family & Stakeholder Collaborative meetings, we have built a new schedule to accommodate parent & stakeholder needs for Student-Led Conferences, and create a more formal, productive testing environment for students participating in MAP.
The schedule for March 2- 5 will consist of half-days for student testing, with the other half of the day reserved for Student-Led Conferences. Students are only expected to attend school during their two assigned testing blocks, but may optionally attend for the full days if they desire; Academic Support Block will be facilitated for small-group and 1:1 academic support, but they will not rotate through regularly scheduled courses.
